    The SUPERFLOW chopper system from GS Manufacturing, Costa Mesa, California, has set new standards in performance for the new generation of flowcoat chopper units. The patent pending FI Superflow nozzle coupled with the "Outlaw Chute" on the GS chopper motor gives the fabricator total control over the laminating characteristics that are required for today's composites manufacturers.

    In the past couple of years, flowcoat chopping left alot to be desired in comparison with traditional spray chopper systems. GS addressed the problems attributed to the poor quality of laminate, plugged nozzles, etc. BEFORE the SUPERFLOW was introduced in early 1998. As the new millennium approaches, the original SUPERFLOW package is now the "ONE GUN" that is leading the way. Here's why:

    1. FI SUPERFLOW nozzle (patent pending) -- The first flowcoat nozzle with a SINGLE ROW of 21 holes creates a perfect pattern to carry the glass to the mold. Use the 17 or 19 hole nozzle for a narrower pattern.
    2. MIXING -- The PATENTED mixing elements in the superflow head provide a total mix of resin and MEKP. These reusable mixers virtually eliminate blockages in the flow nozzle. A quick blast of solvent from the STANDARD 4:1 ratio pump keeps the mixers and nozzles clean! Daily replacement of the mixers in NOT necessary.
    3. GLASS PATTERN & DISPERSION -- Glass fallout and flying strands are not an issue if your using the SUPERFLOW. The "Outlaw chute" on the chopper motor gives the operator total control of the glass as it centers the streams of resin, allowing for a pattern that is un-equaled in the field.
    4. RASCAL GUN -- It's lighter, better balanced and has a 2 stage air-operated trigger that REDUCES OPERATOR FATIGUE. The simple design and ease of maintenance will most certainly lower spare gun parts inventory.
    5. PUMPING SYSTEM -- GS uses a 22:1 ratio resin pump as standard equipment on the SUPERFLOW. Run at a very low pressure with low viscosity resins or crank it up for thicker material or extra long hose sets. YOU HAVE THE POWER!
    6. LEARNING CURVE -- Sometimes with change there is resistance, especially if the operator has to deal with a new gun that makes their job more difficult. Once a laminator uses a SUPERFLOW - they won't give it up!
    7. 30 PPM -- Recent tests for V.O.C. emissions with the SUPERFLOW showed readings of only 30 PPM.
    There really is no secret, no reason to compromise the production or quality of composite parts produced by a flowcoat chopper. There's just the GS SUPERFLOW.
